One of the systems to be replaced is our current accounting system, FRS. It is being replaced with the Kuali Financial Systems (KFS). FRS is a 20 year old mainframe system, making it difficult if not impossible, to enhance it to meet the increasingly complex management requirements of a non-institutional nature.
