What will happen to Kuali Financial System after we go live?

The Future of Kuali Financial System at the UA:

Future plans include implementing Labor Distribution October 2009 when HR/Payroll goes live. The following year, 2010, we will be implementing Effort Reporting and Budget Construction.

The Future of Kuali Financial System beyond development:

Release 3.0 will signify the end of the Kuali Financial System Development phase and the Kuali Financial System will move into Sustainability. Sustainability will be coordinated by the Kuali Foundation with continued support from the Kuali Foundation Membership. Support will come in the form of money, contributed developers directed by the Kuali Foundation and contributed code from the community. The Foundation is working out the details of what this looks like exactly and as you can imagine - there is a long list of enhancements and improvements to support years of future releases.
