On September 28th, 2009 The University of Arizona implemented anew Human Resources system, UAccess Employee, that includes payroll, time recording, benefit administration, employee and position information and self service components. This system replaces the legacy systems including PSOS (a payroll system), Employee Link (a self service system) and some automated time recording systems(ARL and ETS). Employees received their first pay check from the new system on the regular payday of Friday October 9, 2009. So how does this affect you?

UAccess Student Go Live! Course Catalog and Schedule of Classes

UAccess Student - Course Catalogue & Schedule of Classes Go Live - October 12, 2009!

The greenbar process for Fall 2010 will be different from our current process. Room and Course Scheduling and the Student Records Team for the PeopleSoft Mosaic Student Administration Project have been hard at work and have succeeded in implementing this process in the new UAccess Student Administration system. The new process is an automated, online process. Academic departments will be able to view their courses and make changes or additions in the new system. This system went live today, Monday, October 12.

Workshop training sessions are being scheduled to introduce you to the new system and the new process for creating Fall 2010 courses. These workshops will take place during the first two weeks of November. Additional information on how to sign up for a workshop will be issued this week. Access to the new system will be granted upon completing the training. The timeline and deadlines for departments to complete their work in UAccess Student Administration will be similar to the greenbar deadlines in previous years.

New Payroll System Kicks Off

The system went live Sept. 28 in time for Friday's paycheck, the first since the change. The UA paid 18,500 people with checks totaling $29 million.

UAccess Employee System Now Live

The UAccess Employee system, the University of Arizona's new employee payroll system, is now live. Employees will receive their first paycheck through the new system on Oct. 9.

The long-awaited campus-wide information technology overhaul known as the Mosaic project is finallynearing completion — at least in part. In the coming months, much of the behind-the-scenes computing that allows an enormous and complex institution like the UA to function will be updated to meet the demands of a university in the 21st century. EID/SID Being Replaced

EID/SID Being Replaced

The Employee ID (PSOS EID) and Student ID (SIS SID) are being replaced by a new common identifier, the PeopleSoft EmplID. This change will take effect on September 28, 2009 as we go live on the new HR System, UAccess Employee. All students and staff will have the same type of common identifier, the EmplID

UAccess Employee system is scheduled to "Go Live"

The UAccess Employee system is scheduled to "Go Live" during the pay period of September 21 through October 4, 2009. Here are just some of the important dates related to the system launch:

? Wednesday September 23 - last day for entering transactions into PSOS (PSOS will remain available for viewing)

? Monday September 28 - first day for entering transactions into UAccess Employee.

? Friday October 2 - routine payroll deadline for entering transactions

? Friday October 9 - the first payday generated by UAccess Employee
